Battleround is one of Saudi Arabia’s leading card game stores and an official OTS (Official Tournament Store). More than just a retail space, Battleround is a community hub where players, collectors, and fans come together to celebrate their passion for trading card games.

We developed a bold and energetic brand identity that captures the thrill of competition and the excitement of the TCG culture. At the heart of the brand is a custom-designed mascot, instantly recognizable and full of personality — making Battle Round a name fans can rally behind.

We developed a bold and energetic brand identity that captures the thrill of competition and the excitement of the TCG culture. At the heart of the brand is a custom-designed mascot, instantly recognizable and full of personality — making Battle Round a name fans can rally behind.

2. Logo Description

  • The logo features Pen-kun, a fun-loving penguin mascot who loses his cool whenever a card game tournament begins.

    • Meaning: Pen-kun embodies the excitement, humor, and playful chaos of Battleround’s tournaments. His quirky energy reflects the joy and unpredictability of the trading card game community.

    • Reasoning: The mascot approach ensures memorability and brand loyalty. Inspired by the charm of characters like Pokémon’s Psyduck — but entirely unique — Pen-kun delivers a distinct identity that resonates with fans without overlapping existing IPs.

    We also created two alternative logo versions for flexibility across digital platforms, print, and merchandise.

With his crazy antics and unforgettable charm, Pen-kun became the perfect embodiment of Battleround’s spirit.

But we didn’t stop there. To future-proof the brand, we developed alternative logo variations for maximum usability across print, merchandise, and digital media.
